Ins and outs
Week five of 2023, and I realized I had written "start blog" in my pink planner for the fifth week in a row. Which brings me to why I am now sharing my little list, with you.
I have never been big into New Year’s Resolutions. They always seemed like wishful thinking. Nothing wrong with a wish — but a wish is different than a goal. When you wish for something, it usually comes with caveats as to why it will never come true. I wish I had more time, I wish I had that job, I wish I was going on that trip.Â
When we wish we forget to plan — to create more time, apply for that job or look into booking that trip.Â
Instead of thinking of the arrival of 2023 as a knock on the door, slap across the face, kick in the butt, I am going to think of it as a little delivery — though the estimated delivery was five weeks ago, it’s not too late to get your box cutter, pop the bubble wrap and start putting it to use.
